Paulina Emilia Aumayr (born 2002 in Vienna) is an artist working across painting, text, and sculpture. Her practice explores the intersections of intimacy and violence, examining the subtle and structural forms through which patriarchal power operates. Her work is informed by literature and language, with literary fragments, quotations, and text often serving as points of departure for her paintings and installations.

Aumayr lives and works in Vienna and studies at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna in Daniel Richter’s class. She is represented by Galerie Kandlhofer, Vienna. Her work has been shown at Galerie Krinzinger, VinVin Galerie, Tempesta Gallery, Art Düsseldorf, Frieze Seoul, and Galerie Kandlhofer, among others. In 2026, she was awarded the Strabag Art Main Prize.
